HAPKIDO A YANG KWAN
COURSE FOR THE NEW INSTRUCTORS OF HAPKIDO UM YANG KWAN
Note: This course has no intention of deliberately promoting black belts, it is introductory in nature, and it is necessary for the candidate to constantly practice and train in depth to help advance the Um Yang Kwan Hapkido Association and the International Federation Hanminjok Hapkido Association/The World Kido Federation. It is for this reason that we require candidates to graduate from Korean Martial Arts Black Belt.
In order to follow the schedule stipulated by Um Yang Kwan Hapkido and the International Hanminjok Hapkido Association/The World Kido Federation, we have extended the opportunity for Korean martial arts masters and teachers to join our Um Yang Kwan Hapkido instructors both inside and outside from Brazil.
The training to turn (INSTRUCTOR) will have a minimum duration of one (1) year and a half and requires from the participants hard practice, dedication and studies. This does not mean that in 1 (one) year and a half, the instructor will be prepared to take the black belt exam , the technical level of the same will depend solely and exclusively on his studies and practice. During this year of instruction, participants will practice the step-by-step undergraduate curriculum distributed at training meetings during the apprenticeship period. At the end of the meetings, depending on the capacity of the Instructor in training, he will be released to teach Hapkido Um Yang Kwan classes for beginners.
In the first meeting with the instructors, in addition to the theoretical approach, the curriculum will be presented and practiced, divided into modules Module 1- (White/Yellow/Orange, Module 2- (Green/Purple) Module 3- (Blue/Brown) 4- Module (Red/Red/Black) for those who pass the graduation exam in module 3 will be able to start their Hapkido Um Yang Kwan classes for beginning students.
COMMON QUESTIONS:
What are the minimum requirements for me to become a Hapkido Um YangKwan Instructor?
Achieve minimum 1st Dan black belt graduation in a Korean martial art, (NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION) as it will facilitate the understanding of the nomenclatures and principles of the modality; be ethical and professional as a martial arts instructor and participate in the instructor training course under the supervision of Master Anderson Scaldaferri.
Will I only be able to teach classes after passing the black belt exam?
No. At the end of the third module and the instructor in training being approved, he will have the possibility to start the work by teaching Hapkido Um Yang Kwan classes for beginning students.
Where will the Black Belt Exam be held and who will assess it?
After the instructors have completed the training, Master Anderson Scaldaferri will stipulate a date for students to take their Black Belt exam.
Will I receive any teaching materials to help with my studies and training?
Yes, instructors, as well as students, will have access to all syllabus, curriculum, videos and support materials in general through the restricted access available on the Brazilian Confederation of Haedong Kumdo portal.
Who are the teachers who will teach the Instructors-in-Training course?
At the moment only Master Anderson Scaldaferri.
